Biblical Theology

Grasping the big picture of the Bible through the detailed exposition of Old Testament passages in the light of the overall message, a grasp of Bible history and an appreciation of how the Bible fits together and finds its fulfilment in Christ and the gospel.

Systematic Theology

A careful consideration of The Nicene Creed by unpacking the key phrases in order to better understand vital theological concepts and their contemporary relevance.

Biblical Exegesis

Detailed Exposition of particular books of the Bible with a view to helping students learn how to teach different kinds of biblical literature.

Principles of Exposition

A general introduction to the core principles that lie behind a careful and accurate use of the Bible.

Biographical theology

Looking at key doctrines set within the lives of famous Christians, showing the history changing nature of the Word of God- Luther, Athanasius, Calvin, Schaeffer.

Big Issues

Engaging with key apologetic issues of the day- Islam, Dawkins, the problem of suffering.

Gospel Ministry

A combination of grappling with practical issues through discussion, debate and listening to visiting lecturers with a wealth of experience to help us with the practicalities of applying gospel principles to ministry. This includes members of the faculty of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.
