Biblical Theology - this helps us get to grips with the 'big picture' of God's unfolding drama of revelation in the Bible. It allows the Bible to tell its own story in its own terms - an exciting tour de force through God's Word.

Systematic Theology - this brings together in an organised and systematic way what the Bible has to say on any given topic e.g. Creation, Fall, Redemption, Revelation, The Trinity, the Person and Work of Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Church, Judgement and the Second Coming. To help us to understand these things we shall be working with the Nicene Creed.

Biographical Theology - this involves learning about key doctrines through the lives of people who have helped give them clear expression for the church. By concentrating on their lives as well as their teaching we hope to show that all of God's Word has a practical life changing dimension. This also assists in understanding something of church history.

Principles of Exposition - the Bible is a big book and made up of lots of different types of literature. How do we make sure we interpret and apply it properly? Principles of exposition will help us discover how.

Expositions - the principles are shown in practice as we work through in some detail different parts of the Bible e.g. the Book of Ruth, Jonah, Revelation, James and Matthew. In each case the practical implications of the books will be teased out.

Workshops - this is over to you! With the guidance of some experienced Bible teachers you will be given the opportunity to put into practice what you have learnt - preparing short talks, Bible studies, sermons etc.

Practical Ministry - We are very privileged to have several guest lecturers who are experienced Bible practitioners working in a variety of situations. Topics to be covered include: getting the gospel across, guarding your spiritual life, handling conflict, working in a team, apologetics and church planting.

Over to you - As with every course, you get out what you are willing to put in. It is a great privilege and opportunity to be trained in this way and to be part of a committed group of people - the fellowship itself is worth coming for!
